We have served the Houston tennis community for over 25 years. We work hard every day to ensure that our customers (and their equipment) receive the best service and care around. We are a store run by tennis players (and coaches) of all levels, and our tennis knowledge and enthusiasm is rivaled by very few. We hope you'll give us the chance to prove it to you.
 | Jeff Halbert Store Director Jeff first started with Sports Express over 20 years ago, but was buying from Sports Express since it first opened. A lifelong tennis player who knows how to break a racket or two over his knee and doesn't mind retiring in the warm-up. Jeff leads a really strong team of characters who all truly love to talk tennis. Sports Express is a place where you can go to gossip all about the sport. |  | Andy Andrews Assistant Manager/Head Stringer Andy has been with Sports Express for over 10 years. He has strung for most of the top players of today and yesterday.. Having strung tens of thousands of racquets, Andy's experience and attention to detail makes him one of the best and most accurate stringers around. Andy prefers to take a Joe Girardi-esque position to tennis and loves creating superteams, although he is still an active 4.0+ player who has some of the softest hands in the business. |  | Chris Gaston Retail Sales |  | David Guy IT Manager Dave Guy is a very unique Guy. He will beat you wearing boat shoes and jeans. When he gets his racquet restrung, he says "just put some string and tension on there." Dave is a truly talented player who doesn't mind a few laughs on the court. A programmer since he was in elementary school, Dave has done programming for many large companies like Raytheon, the Houston Rockets, and Comcast. |  | Matt Foster Web Designer/Equipment Expert Matt truly loves tennis... to the point where buying a 20-year-old extinct racket is normal. Matt has been attached to the Texas Longhorns Tennis Team, King Daddy Sports, and is currently a USPTA Certified Professional with Houston Tennis Academy. He is an expert on both racquets and strings and he's more than happy to help anyone with their equipment issues. Like Jeff, Matt is not afraid to let the racket fly, but he knows his paycheck will always support his habit. |
